Romano originally grew up in the home building business, working in sales for Grenadier Homes. He then graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in film and television, and found his start in the entertainment industry through commercials, working with Gold’s Gym, Cinemark, Kimberly Clark, Exxon Mobil, Movado, and more. He then moved into the narrative side of film, working with the likes of Jon Avnet, Richard Gere, Kevin Pollack, Denis Lenoir, and Johnathan Brownlee.
Romano currently works an Associate Producer at the Torfoot Entertainment Group on projects including, Montserrat, The Yeti, The Eyes of Jefferson, a limited series about Will Rogers, My Name is Kira, and Navigating Christmas (Hallmark). He also lends his time to the Dallas Classic Film Festival as the head of operations, helping to bring in notable guests such as Barry Corbin, Eric Nelsen, and Anita Swift (John Wayne’s Granddaughter).
